History of the Edinburgh Dinner.

Encouraged by the success of the London Dinners, the Old Boys’ Association has organised very successful dinners for Former Pupils who live in Scotland.  This event is held in the New Club on Princes Street.

A very successful alumni Edinburgh Dinner was held on Friday 12th April 2024.

The toast to the School was proposed by Commander Peter Noblett RN. The Principal replied on behalf of the school and gave the guests an update on the past school year.

The Edinburgh and London dinners are a great opportunity for former pupils to enjoy a pleasant evening together, to reconnect with friends and be updated on the past school year.

Please do come along to one of the dinners where you will be very welcome and we guarantee the years will fall away and you’ll feel like a teenager again!

Any Former Pupil wishing to attend the 2025 dinner should email Dr Louis Campbell.

The dress code is lounge suit and tie with the equivalent for ladies.  [Guests are not invited to attend.]  The dinner starts with drinks from 6.00pm with a three-course meal to follow at 7.00pm.  Although not a “formal” event, it has been the policy to have a limited number of speeches with a toast to the School given by one of the attendees followed by a short ‘state of the school’ speech from the Principal. The focus of the dinner is mainly social, so plenty of time is available before and after dinner for conversation with old and new friends.
